Preparation
1
Let the cheese set at room temperature one hour before baking. Preheat the oven to 150°C.
2
Take the Camembert out of its box, remove the wax wrapping paper, then put it back in the box.
3
Score the top of the cheese several times with a knife. Sprinkle the thyme or rosemary on top along with a drizzle of olive oil.
4
Back for 15 to 20 minutes. While the cheese is baking, cut the walnut bread into half-inch cubes.
5
Place the Camembert (still in the box) in the middle of a dish and scatter the bread cubes around the edges. For an extra touch of sweetness, feel free to drizzle a bit of honey before enjoying!
Eat the cheese while it is still warm by dipping the bread into the cheese.
Pair with
Médoc Rouge, PDO Pays d'Auge dry cider.
