Preparation
1
Prepare the Brioche Buns:
If desired, lightly toast the mini brioche buns in the oven or on a skillet until they are warm and slightly crispy. This step is optional but adds a nice texture.

2
Spread the Mustard:
Spread a thin layer of Moutarde de Bourgogne or Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each brioche bun. This will add a tangy flavor that pairs beautifully with the pâté.

3
Add the Pâté:
Cut the Pâté de Campagne into slices that fit the size of your buns. Place a slice of pâté on each bun, pressing it down slightly to secure it.

4
Top with Cornichons:
Place a few slices of cornichon on top of the pâté. The tartness of the cornichons will balance the richness of the pâté.

5
Add the Cheese:
Cut the cheese into small slices and add it into the pâté with the cornichons.

6
Add Fresh Greens (Optional):
If using, add a small handful of fresh arugula or watercress on top of the cornichons for a peppery, fresh bite.
7
Assemble and Serve:
Place the top half of the brioche bun over the assembled ingredients. Press down lightly to secure the fillings. Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve immediately. They are best enjoyed fresh, with a crisp glass of white wine or sparkling water.
