French Garlic Baguette

    Charentes-Poitou Butter PDO

  • 2 cloves (peeled and minced)
  • 1 oz (chopped)
  • Comte cheese
    Comté PDO

Preparation

Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Prepare the garlic butter: in a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and black pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Slice the baguette: Slice the baguette into 0.4 inches thick slices, but don't cut all the way through.

Spread the butter: Spread the garlic butter mixture generously between the baguette slices, and finish with the freshly grated Comté.

Bake: Place the baguette on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the butter is melted and bubbly.
