In the current climate, traveling to France might not be on the cards, but it doesn’t mean you can’t have a proper French evening in! Here’s a round-up of delivery options that will transport you over the Channel. Put on your coolest French playlist, lay the table, crack open a bottle of vin rouge and voilà! Staying in is the new traveling out.
Maison Patron: the Parisian bistro
Light up the candles and get ordering! North London’s favourite Parisian bistrotier is back in the delivery game, with carefully crafted à la carte and wine options for your perfect date night. First relax, it’s apéro time nibbling on truffle salami and olives with a glass of fizzy crémant d'Alsace. Then indulge in a soothing coq au vin, some duck confit and a side of gratin dauphinois with red wine. To round things off, share a slice of tarte tatin and drink up those bubbles!
Best thing is, the dishes will keep up to five days in the fridge, so you can replay that Paris scene over and over again.
Delivery available for North and North West London from Oct 15th, all over London shortly after that.

Gauthier Soho: the gastronomic vegan
Michelin-starred chef Alexis Gauthier’s fine dining restaurant nestled in a Soho townhouse has been around since 2010. In 2016, he turned vegan and created a fully plant-based tasting menu that has been a hit ever since.
You can now recreate it at home, with a seasonal, weekly-changing kit of nine dishes — enough to feed four, keep you going for three days or even pop into your freezer for later. In addition to his cult vegan faux-gras, you can expect the likes of herb and onion brioches, wild mushrooms forestière, basil ravioli, almond financier or dark chocolate mousse.
