Mimolette bacon waffles

Quick and easy to make, these salty cheese and bacon waffles are super tasty. With a few salads leaves and homemade ranch dressing, your lunch is already ready!

  • For the waffles
  • 7 oz
  • Mimolette
    Mimolette
  • 2 slices
  • 10 fl oz
  • x 3
  • 1.75 oz
  • 0.50 sachet
  • For the salad and ranch dressing
  • 6.75 fl oz
  • 2 tablespoon
  • PGI Burgundy mustard
    Moutarde de Bourgogne IGP
    3 teaspoons Voir la fiche
  • 3 sprigs
  • 5 sprigs

Préparation

Prepare the waffle batter. Melt butter over low heat. 

Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl. Pour in the melted butter, stir, and add the milk. When the batter is smooth, stir in the eggs. Season with salt and pepper.

Grate the mimolette and cut the bacon into small pieces. Add to the batter. Lightly oil a waffle iron and cook waffles until lightly browned.

Prepare the ranch dressing by mixing the mustard with the mayonnaise and sour cream. Chop parsley and chives and add. Season with salt and pepper.

Place two waffles on each plate, serve with salad leaves and ranch dressing.
